While planning your holiday to Universal Orlando Resort™ you may have questions regarding what services are available at the theme parks. Answers to these questions may be available below. Simply click on one of the subject headings listed or scroll down the page for more information.
At Universal Studios Florida™, a First Aid Station is located at Family Services, located near the Studio Audience Center. The main Health Services station is located on Canal Street between the New York Street Set and the San Francisco Street Set.
At Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, First Aid is located inside the Guest Services Lobby, just to the right of the main entrance turnstiles. The main Health Services station is in Sindbad's Village within The Lost Continent®
At Universal's Volcano Bay™, the First Aid Station is located next to the park entrance and is staffed with registered nurses and professional paramedics. If you have any questions or need special assistance, ask any team member.
These areas are available at each attraction, at each park, to allow parents to take turns watching their child while the other rides. For further information or instructions, please ask a ride attendant upon arrival to the theme park.
Restroom facilities are located throughout all three theme parks and the Universal CityWalk™ entertainment complex. All restrooms have wheelchair-accessible facilities and offer diaper-changing areas in both the men's and women's restrooms in the theme parks.
A companion restroom is available at Family Services at Universal Studios Florida. At Islands of Adventure, a companion restroom is available at both First Aid locations. At Universal’s Volcano Bay, you’ll find a companion restroom at the First Aid Station and you’ll find family restrooms located before you enter the park, underneath Ohyah and Ohno Drop Slides™, and in the River Village near the entrance to Honu ika Moana™.
Nursing facilities are available in the First Aid Station at Family Services, located to the right of the Lost And Found in Universal Studios Florida™, at the Health Services main station, located on Canal Street in the New York area, in the First Aid Station at Universal's Islands of Adventure™, and in the First Aid Station at Universal’s Volcano Bay. Diaper-changing stations are available in all restrooms.
Telephones are conveniently located throughout the theme parks near the restrooms and next to the main entrance and exit turnstiles. At Universal CityWalk, you can find telephones next to the Guest Services window and near the main public restrooms.
For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) are located at the Guest Services Office and Health Services. Pay telephones with amplification devices are located throughout each of the parks and Universal CityWalk.
Universal Orlando offers a day time kennel for dogs and cats.
Proof of the following vaccinations are required before boarding your dog or cat:
- Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella and D.H.P.P.
- Cats: Rabies, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia and Rhinotrachetitis
- All of the shots must be listed along with expiration dates.

The kennel is for dogs and cats only. No native or exotic species are allowed in the kennels.
The kennel does not take reservations. The kennel is on a first come first served basis and opens at 8:00am. The kennel is locked and unattended two hours after the latest theme park closes, however, dogs and cats can stay at the kennel until 3:00am. After the kennel is locked, you will use a phone that is located outside of the kennel and someone will come by to assist you.
All dogs weighing 39 pounds and more will be boarded in an outside kennel. The outside kennels are completely covered and there are fans. The outside cages are 7' x 4' and made of chain link fencing with a cement floor.
All cats and dogs weighing 38 pounds and less will be boarded in an inside kennel with A/C. The kennels are 3' x 2 1/2' and have solid metal sides, top and bottom with a chain link front.
You may bring food, blankets and toys to make them feel at home. The kennel attendant will supply water and a clean and safe kennel. Guest(s) should plan to return to take their pet for a walk at least once during the day.
The cost is $15.00* per pet / per day. Premier Pass holders will receive 50% off of one pet boarding per pass / per day. Pass holder must be present.
Directions: At the intersection of Universal Blvd and Hollywood way follow the signs for parking. After you go through the toll plaza, follow the signs to the RV and Camper parking lot. Park on the left side and the kennel is on the corner.

Guests may purchase U.S. postage stamps from a stamp machine and deposit mail for the U.S. Postal Service in the locker area near the exit restrooms at Universal Studios Florida. At Islands of Adventure a stamp machine can be found in the Islands of Adventure Trading Company gift shop.
